The photo department was taking photo editing to the next level when we arrived on Friday. I believe they were specifically talking about making panoramic images when I took this shot.
Kellee was looking forward to seeing their work as she spent the most time in studio with them on Wednesday. There were a lot of unique shots and I know Kellee was giving out a lot of compliments as she went about the room.

My last stop on the 7th floor, Photography. I’ve been seeing this group take photos not stop all week, but I hadn’t actually see any of their work up to this point so I was eager to check on them as well. This group also spent the most time with Kellee during their studio session. I was thinking back to some of the interesting poses and setups during that session so I couldn’t wait to see how the photos looked.
The students were learning how to use Lightroom and its many editing features. In years past this group would have been in the darkroom developing negatives and enlarging the film on photo paper. Today it is all digital and volume of photos you can take is staggering.
Students were touching up photos from the shoot with Kellee and other photos they had taken during the week. I found it interesting how often fellow students showed up in each others portfolio. The pictures of Kellee were coming along well too. Want to see them? You’ll have to wait until the end of the week.

After lunch Kellee spent a few hours in the Photography Studio with the Photo students. They were using a three point lighting system with a seamless backdrop.
Each student had a chance to work with Kellee individually to capture the just the right shot. I was impressed to see how each student took a creative approach to a similar studio setup. Some bringing in props and others finding a unique pose to capture the right image.
The students also used a never ending stream of energetic music to keep the mood lively and fun.
