There was a lot of activity in the Game Art & Design classroom and I don’t mean shooting space invaders. The students were working in 3D Studio Max to create shapes and model them.


Specifically the students were using a simple object, a milk carton, to learn the software. In order to get your texture just right you need to unwrap the model and apply graphics. When making a video game you need to do this for every object in the whole game. Seems like a daunting task but I know they were up to the challenge as they completed game environments over the next few days.
