When we got to the Culinary floor we found the class executing a very important part of the culinary process, cleaning. I was able to capture a short video of the students at work.

After sampling their work earlier in the week I couldn’t wait to get back into the kitchens and see what the culinary students were cooking. Today they were making Ratatouille (just like the movie I was told). Unfortunately for me they were still cutting up the vegetables.

After meeting with the designers we decided to head to the 9th Fl and visit the Culinary department. Let me tell you, if you have never visited our kitchens you should make a point to stop down and visit. The place is always so welcoming not only with the smell of great food but smiling faces. On Tuesday we were greeted by Chef Schmucker who was showing the class how to make a vinaigrette.
While mixing Kellee and I were directed to the stove where there was a vegetable soup waiting to be tasted. This wasn’t the first or the last of visits by Summer Studio staff to the Culinary department for proper taste testing. The soup was excellent by the way!
